DEC Seafood and Food Safety Lab; Anchorage
This 22,000 SF laboratory is dedicated to food safety and animal health. This State of the Art Lab facility enables researchers to provide surveillance of: seafood, food, water, air, soil and zoonotic diseases from wild and domestic animals. The laboratory suites include Biosafety Level 2 and 3 suites, a PCR suite, chemistry suite and veterinary facilities each requiring different building systems.
